While being deeply informed by Stevens, as well as the poems of James Wright and Mark Strand, the use of a 4x5 pinhole camera served as the perfect medium to document this blurred exploration of self. In my connection to nature I shed layers of skin; layers of myself. I found freedom in solitude, and the growth born from it.
I disappear within a field, then dissolve into the ocean. I am nothing and everything all at once, eventually becoming one with the natural world.
